Common questions about the process

Can I save my progress and come back later?
Yes. Your progress is saved automatically. Close your browser and return anytime by logging in — everything will be right where you left it.
What if I don't know all the details yet?
No problem — you can use placeholders and update later. Many people start with the basics and refine details once they've spoken to family. You can edit your will for 30 days after purchase.
Is my will really legally valid?
Yes. Your will is designed for England & Wales and becomes legally valid when signed and witnessed correctly (signed by you in the presence of two independent witnesses who also sign). We provide clear signing instructions with your download, and an expert reviews your draft before release.
Who can witness my will?
You need 2 independent adult witnesses. Generally, beneficiaries (people who receive something from your will) and their spouses/civil partners shouldn't witness. We explain this clearly in the signing guide included with your download.
Can I change my will after completing it?
Yes. You can make unlimited edits for 30 days after purchase. Log in, make changes, and download an updated will. You'll need to sign and witness the new version for it to be valid.
What's the difference between Standard and Islamic wills?
Standard Will: A comprehensive will letting you distribute your estate as you choose. Covers executors, beneficiaries, guardians, and specific gifts.

Islamic Will: Prepared to align Islamic inheritance principles with English law. Includes guidance on wasiyyah (discretionary bequests up to 1/3) and fixed heirs according to Shariah principles.
